On January, 21 the Executive Committee of the Ukrainian National Olympic Committee of Ukraine has approved the list of the country’s national squad for participation in the 2010 Winter Olympic Games that will take place in Vancouver, Canada from 12th to 28th of February.
As the President of the NOC of Ukraine announced on Thursday (Jan, 21) at the press conference in Kyiv, the Ukrainian national team at the Vancouver 2010 Games will comprise of 41 athletes who will compete in 8 out of 15 sports. However, this number may be adjusted, as 3 Ukrainian cross-country skiers, one snowboarder and one short track athlete are now in the so-called «waiting list» and by decision of the corresponding International Federations can be included into the list of the Vancouver Winter Games’ participants by January, 25.
