The beginning of October 2009 saw the whole Olympic Family convened in Copenhagen to rethink the future of the Olympic Movement.
1250 representatives of IOC, National Olympic Committees, International Olympic and Recognised Federations from all over the world attended the XIII Olympic Congress to analyse the actual role of the Olympism in the contemporary society.
The Congress ended in a set of 66 considerations and recommendations intended to strengthen the sport and its values, that the Olympic Movement represents and vehicles throughout the world.
The NOC of Ukraine has brought the accepted recommendations together in the special brochure and is now actively distributing them among all the bodies of Olympic Movement so that they are fulfilled as soon as possible.
